We've hunted around the internet for some great deals on a selection of evo's favourite performance cars

If you have been tempted by some of the cars featured in evo Magazine and on things might just get a little more intriguing. With evo favourites like the Ford Focus RS and McLaren 540C now maturing in the market, this just might be the perfect time to scratch your performance car itch.

We’ve assembled a list of some of the best deals out there on hot hatches to coupes to convertibles. We’ve focused on a few PCP (personal contract purchase) and contract hire/lease deals. So whether your budget extends short or far you should find a car to satisfy your driving urges below.

Best new car deals 2017

Volkswagen Golf GTI

Volkswagen's consummate hot hatch, the Golf GTI is an expensive proposition when purchased outright but is a whole lot more tempting when one can be had for as little as £206 per month. It may not be the most aggressive hot hatch around, but the GTI's classless appeal and exceptional build quality make it a winning ownership proposition.

Jaguar F-Type V6 supercharged 400 Sport convertible

Recently road tested and now arguably the sweet spot in the range. The asking price from new puts it just over £80k, but this ex demo is asking £64,000, a whopping  £16k less. Available now for £849 per month

Porsche 718 Cayman

This new 718 Cayman is available for just under £400 per month. It’s perhaps not quite as characterful as the previous model, but a great drivers car none the less.

Abarth 124 Spider

Despite being £6k more expensive than a top spec MX-5, the Abarth 124 has been a big surprise to us here at evo. With only delivery miles on the clock, this example is available for £26,000, £3k less than asking price or £398 per month.

Toyota GT86

A favourite in the evo office, the GT86 doesn’t offer masses of performance, however it is great fun to drive and exploit beyond the limit. £298 per month makes it an affordable option that will always leave a smile on your face.

Ford Focus RS

Thanks to its instant success, demand has been strong for the Focus RS, but the option to pay £420 per month for custom specced car is surely something that cannot be overlooked.

McLaren 540C

Despite being the ‘baby’ in the Mclaren range, the 540C is a full-blown supercar in its own right. Other than a fairly hefty initial deposit, the car can be had for under £850 per month. If one can afford the initial payment, this could well be the least expensive way into supercar ownership.

Ford Focus ST

A capable hot hatch, and a more liveable proposition than the harder RS, the ST is a gentler prospect to live with every day. At £420 per month on a 46 month contract, the ST is a more affordable way into a fast Ford.

Peugeot 308 GTi 270 by Peugeot Sport

Peugeot have a great offer on the latest iteration of its hottest hot hatch. The GTi 270 is about to undergo a tiny facelift meaning earlier cars will be up for grabs. At under £380 per month, it won’t break the bank.

Peugeot Sport 208 GTi

Arguably better than the 308 GTi and available at a fraction of the cost, for just £231 per month the 208 GTi is great value. If you do considerable miles, you might need look elsewhere.

DS3 Performance

One of our long-termers, the DS3 Performance is a good run around that manages to squeeze the performance of a hot hatch and luxury of saloon car into a small elegant body.

£16,799 cash price of £235 per month.
