XFR at Goodwood

1 Jul 2009

Jag XFR, the fastest Jaguar ever to make UK debut at the upcoming Festival of Speed

The Jaguar XFR Prototype which made a record breaking run of 225.675mph at the Bonneville salt flats will make an appearance at Goodwood in the ‘First Glance’ category.

Jag will also be showcasing a one-off XKR ‘Goodwood Special’ in the supercar run. Jaguar claim that the limited edition XKR represents an opportunity to push performance boundaries and explore the harder side of the XKR’s character.

Alongside Jag’s modern cars will be the 1957 Le Mans winning Long Nose D-TYPE running the hill. The C-TYPE, which provided Jaguar with their first ever Le Mans win, and the Jaguar XJ13, the only one of its kind in the world, will also be on show.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009 will take place from 3 – 5 July. For more info visit: www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/festivalofspeed/
