German tuners are growing increasingly concerned over badly manufactured copies of their aerodynamic enhancements flooding the market. These ill-fitting parts are non-TUV approved and as such could be dangerous at speed - promoting lift where the real items would increase stability. In Germany, fitting non-TUV approved parts makes a car impossible to register or insure.
