Porsche is celebrating the success of its British drivers at Le Mans with some special edition versions of the 911 Carrera 4 GTS. Available in three versions celebrating the successes of Porsche factory drivers Richard Attwood, Derek Bell and Nick Tandy, each is specified with a range of bespoke Alcantara details inside and subtle exterior stripes.

All three British Legends versions are based on the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with the optional rear-axle steering and Sport PASM systems fitted, but aside from these upgrades, the special editions are purely aesthetic exercises. Each of the three versions feature the relevant numbers from the respective racing car, with the first model celebrating Richard Attwood’s 1970 win in the 917. The second car is finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic harking back to the classic white, gold and blue livery worn by the Derek Bell’s 956.

The last special edition is based on Nick Tandy’s 2015 Le Mans winning 919 Hybrid and is finished in a classic Carrera white with contrasting black and red highlights. All three cars include black leather and Alcantara interiors, complete with a bespoke steering wheel featuring a red 12 o’clock marking and embossed Alcantara armrests with the relevant racing numbers and drivers' names.

All three versions also include adaptive LED headlights in black and a subtlety kicked up tail courtesy of a newly optional sport design package. They are all available in both 7-speed manual and PDK options for £122,376 for the Attwood edition and £123,210 for the others (accounting for the metallic paint). At over £21k more than a standard Carrera 4 GTS, these special editions don’t come cheap, but we imagine Porsche won't be short of enough interested parties.
